Easter Epitaph Tradition

This Easter, on Holy Thursday, the 1st April, students and parents from ELC school visited the church of Agios Georgios Arma in the evening. They decorated the epitaph with flowers in the church dating from 1611.
Doing this is an ELC tradition and we have been doing it for ten years. It was a lovely afternoon and below you can see some of the pictures. If any students or parents want to join us next year, they are more than welcome.

QLS Conference

Last Saturday, some students from the ELC school attended the QLS student conference at the Planetarium. The theme of the confrence was using the internet. The students heard talks on this from guest speakers, watched other schools give presentations, gave their own presentation and took part in a competition.

Our school's presentation showed two different sides to meeting people on the internet: one half was based on the film 'You've Got Mail' and was a romance about love over the internet, and the other half was a warning about the dangers of meeting people on the internet. The presentation involved acting and dancing and was very well received.
The conference was a success and all the students enjoyed it. Here are some of the photos.

ELC had high up seats and a good view.
